On Feb 22, 2020, WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder & Lineal Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury will have the long-awaited rematch of their draw in December of 2018! I am making this video two weeks out because I might not have access to my computer for a couple of weeks (by choice. I’m doing some traveling and might want to lighten my load.). I think in Tyson Fury we one of the most mobile and nimble heavyweights of all time. Perhaps second only to “The Greatest” himself Muhammad Ali. Like Ali Fury is also a great showman in the ring as well. Fury’s two-inch advantage in height & reach should allow him to moreover and land punches in relative safety, but not complete safety. If I’m going to compare Fury’s mobility, nimbleness & showmanship to Ali, then I think Deontay Wilder’s power deserves comparison to Joe Louis. Like The Brown Bomber, The Bronze Bomber can end a fight on a single punch. It’s something Louis understood and it’s something Wilder understands. I think Wilder put it best himself after stopping Luis Ortiz. When he said that his opponents have to be right all fight and he only has to be right for two seconds.
Is Autism & Other forms Of Neurologically Atypical Challenges a Superpower? I have taken note that a lot of young people who Like myself face the challenges of autism and other Neurologically Atypical Challenges. View them as their Super Power! It’s an idea that I really like, but do I agree with it? My opinion is it depends. I fell that if our parents are supportive and encouraging us when it comes to our passions and interests. Then yes I think they are a superpower. Unfortunately, even though they have the best of intentions. Our parents might over protect us. Not allowing us to grow not letting us reach whatever positional we might have had. So I believe that with empowerment from our parents. Allowing us to find our nitch in life The challenges of being Neurologically Atypical. In whatever form that might take. It can be a superpower! Your support is always appreciated! My Super Bowl LIV Reaction! The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-20. San Francisco had Kansas City on the proverbial ropes leading 20-10 going into the fourth quarter, but 21 unanswered points latter Kansas City wins Super Bowl LIV 31-20. It was the third straight playoff game that KC came back down 10 points or more in the second half to win. Patrick Mahomes overcame two early interceptions to lead the comeback and at 24 become the youngest Super Bowl MVP. I think there is an argument for Damien Williams who ran for 104 yards& Scored the go-ahead Touchdown and again using a boxing term. The knockout touchdown. The immediate narrative is that San Francisco gave the game away. While I feel there is some truth to that. Give Kansas City all the credit in the world. They didn’t let getting behind break them. Andy Reid trusted Mahomes. The result was those 21 unanswered points and the second Super Bowl Championship in Franchise history! Jeison Rosario upset Julian Williams at Liacouras Center in Philadelphia PA. Willams hometown! To take Williams WBA & IBF super welterweight/light-middleweight championships! What’s next for the newly crowned champion? A rematch is very likely. In his post-fight interview after being beat, Williams said that he plans to invoke a rematch clause. I think the PBC really likes Williams and has big plans for him. So it would not surprise me if he gets his rematch right away. If that doesn’t happen I think matching Rosario up with Erislandy Lara makes a lot of sense. Rosario is Dominican and Lara is Cuban. They both make their homes (according to boxrec) in the southeast United States. Rosario in Miami FL & Lara Houston TX. Just 2 and a half mins of flight time separate the two cities. I will say this I do feel that matching Rosario in a rematch with Williams or with Lara. will be from the PBC’s view more about giving Williams and Lara an opportunity than it is to further Rosario’s career.
What’s Next For Terence Crawford After Beating Egidijus Kavaliauskas? Terence (Bud) Crawford stops Egidijus (Mean Machine) Kavaliauskas in 9 rounds to retain his WBO welterweight championship! What’s next for one of boxing’s top Pound for Pound stars? Don’t expect a fight with Errol Spence Jr. or any of the PBC promoted welterweights. Crawford’s promoter Bob Arum and Top Rank can line up a couple of good challenges in Alexander Besputin who holds 1/3 of the WBA championship with Manny Pacquiao & Vergil Ortiz Jr. As well as Kudratillo Abdukakhorov who is the Top contender for Spence’s IBF championship. However, neither Besputin or Abdukakhorov really bring any name recognition. This brings us to WBC & WBO super lightweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez. I think as long as he beats Viktor Postol (and I think he will). I think Ramirez will move up in weight to face Crawford. If Postal beats Ramirez I think either Besputin or Abdukakhorov will get their chance. Postal lost to Crawford in 2016 and is the last man to go the distance with Crawford. WHY COLIN KAEPERNICK “WON” “THE WORKOUT” I think Colin Kapernick won round one. There is no guarantee that he is ever going to be on an NFL team ever again, but he got eight teams to go out of their way to take a look at him. Rather you support him or don’t. There is no way to look at this as anything but a win for Kapernick. I have the feeling that if he’s going to get back into the NFL. He might have to play in the CFL for a year. Who do you think came out ahead? Will Colin Kapernick play in the NFL Again? Please let me know in the commits. I realize that Colin Kapernick is a polarizing figure. Regardless of your views of him. Please keep your commits civil. I will delete them if I fell they cross any lines. Please help me grow Sports Talk With Troy by Subscribing https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1DnNvUpABr-ayiIMvwBJgg
I think some boxing “purists” might be upset. However, Logan Paul Vs KSI Is Not Going To Break Or Make Boxing (It Might Be A Missed Opportunity). YouTube personalities Logan Paul and KSI (Real Name Olajide William Olatunji) Will box against each other in a real on the record boxing match tonight at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, California. All in all this bout is not going to make or break boxing. It’s not going to move the needle it won’t create new fans. It won’t turn fans away. I do think, however, there is a missed opportunity. That has to do with the rest of the card. World Champions Billy Joe Saunders & Devin Haney have scheduled bouts against unknown opponents. This is where I think DAZN & Matchroom are missing an opportunity. I’m not expecting them to match Saunders & Haney in 5-Star matches, but they could have put them in more compelling matchups that I think could turn viewers tuning in just for Paul/Olatunji into new boxing fans.
Naoya Inoue Defeats Nonito Donaire Wins WBSS! Naoya (The Monster) Inoue wins a unanimous decision over (The Filipino Flash) Nonito Donaire at the Super Arena in Saitama Japan to unify the IBF & WBA bantamweight championships. As well as win the Muhammad Ali Trophy in the World Boxing Super Series. I think the organizers of the WBSS envisioned a final between Inoue and Ryan Burnett. However, Donaire who Burnett. picked to face in the first round of the WBSS beat him and went on to win his next fight. Despite not being the final the WBSS wanted. Donaire was able to dig deep into his reserves and provided much stiffer competition to Inoue, who has earned his nickname “the Monster” with a string of KO victories over some very good opponents. Both men had their moments. Both hurt each other. Inoue had Donaire hurt and ready to go in the 5th. Donaire had Inoue hurt and ready to go in the 9th. In the 11th Inoue drooped Donaire with a body shot. Donaire finished the round and the 12 round distance. Scores were 116-111/117-109/114-113. All in Naoya Inoue’s favor!
Canelo KO’s The Krusher What’s Next? Saul Canelo Alvarez wins the WBO Light heavyweight Championship by knocking out Sergey Krusher Kovalev in the 11th round! Who will his next opponent be? It’s possible that he will unify with WBA Champion Dmitry Bivol. It is possible that Canelo will choose to fight at Super Middleweight. If that’s the case Bivol has expressed a willingness to fight at 168 in the past. If not Bivol fights can be made with Billy Joe Saunders or the winner of Callum Smith/John Ryder. Do not expect Canelo to face rival Gennady GGG Golovkin, WBC/IBF Light heavyweight Champion Artur Beterbiev or the top WBO Contender Gilberto Ramirez.
What’s Next For Shakur Stevenson After Beating Joet Gonzalez? Shakur Stevenson, who won the Silver medal at the 2016 Olympics becomes WBO Featherweight champion with an impressive 12 round decision over Joet Gonzalez? I felt that his performance reminded me of Floyd Mayweather at 147 & 154. I think Stevenson has all the talent and potential in the world. Like Mayweather, he picked his spots, was very efficient with his punches. Like Mayweather at 147 & 154, he might not have knockout power, but he does have enough pop in his punches to make opponents think twice. Mayweather was at the end of his career and from 130-140 While he was never a KO Artist. He had decent power. I think at 126 & 130 Stevenson is going to be just fine. However at 135 & 140 where his opponents are going to be stronger. If he doesn’t at least matain his Make you think twice power. I think someone could stop him in the late rounds. This is just an observation and opinion and these concerns won’t suffice for a few years if at all. Anyways this is more about Shakur Stevenson’s inmate future. Where the newly crowned WBO Featherweight Champion has a lot of options. He called out IBF Champion Josh Warrington there are some obstacles but it is a makeable fight. The top contenders for the WBO Championship are Michael Conlan, Jessie Magdaleno & Carl Frampton. All three are Top Rank/ESPN boxers. WBO Super Bantamweight Champion is Emanuel Navarrete & The WBO Super Featherweight Champion is Jamel Herring. Both are also Top Rank/ESPN boxers. So basically Shakur Stevenson has options.
