Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury A Mutually Beneficial Matchup. Tyson Fury announced that he was in negotiations to fight WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in December. I have come across some negative reactions to this. I fell that this matchup is mutually beneficial to both parties. In their pursuit of Anthony Joshua. I do think that Wilder would gain more by beating Jarrell Miller, but the reason for this is the reason it is not likely to happen. It’s a matchup of two big heavyweights with larger than life personalities. The winner puts himself in a great position to fight Joshua.
