What’s Next For Terence Crawford After Beating Egidijus Kavaliauskas?

What’s Next For Terence Crawford After Beating Egidijus Kavaliauskas? Terence (Bud) Crawford stops Egidijus (Mean Machine) Kavaliauskas in 9 rounds to retain his WBO welterweight championship! What’s next for one of boxing’s top Pound for Pound stars? Don’t expect a fight with Errol Spence Jr. or any of the PBC promoted welterweights. Crawford’s promoter Bob Arum and Top Rank can line up a couple of good challenges in Alexander Besputin who holds 1/3 of the WBA championship with Manny Pacquiao & Vergil Ortiz Jr. As well as Kudratillo Abdukakhorov who is the Top contender for Spence’s IBF championship. However, neither Besputin or Abdukakhorov really bring any name recognition. This brings us to WBC & WBO super lightweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez. I think as long as he beats Viktor Postol (and I think he will). I think Ramirez will move up in weight to face Crawford. If Postal beats Ramirez I think either Besputin or Abdukakhorov will get their chance. Postal lost to Crawford in 2016 and is the last man to go the distance with Crawford. Terence Crawford Vasyl Lomachenko Who’s #1 (June 2018). In the wake of Floyd Mayweather’s retirement. Two boxers have emerged as the new kings of the sport. Leaving what I fell is a large gap between them and the rest of the sport. The first is Terence Crawford of Omaha, Nebraska. Over the past 2 years, 5-0 with 4 stoppage wins. He became the undisputed champion at 140 and just won a championship at 147. The other is Vasyl Lomachenko The 2 time Olympic Gold medalist from Ukraine has put together a 6-0 mark all stoppages over the last two years. 5 defenses of a championship at 130 and winning one at 135. All 11 combined performances by Bud and Loma have been masterclasses. Each and everyone against very good and very capable opponents. When you take into account the quality of their opposition & how they performed against them. I just don’t see an argument for anyone else.
