Mental Health Is An Important Subject. Autism Awareness Day/Month.

Mental Health Is An Important Subject. Autism Awareness Day/Month. It’s hard for me to talk about. I have made videos in the past and plan to do more in the future. Something that I want you to understand. Talking about my experiences is not therapeutic for me. Which was one of the reasons I started talking about my own experiences dealing with my own invisible disabilities. I plan on making more videos even if I might have covered a topic in the past. I think some things are worth repeating. I do have some travel and cosplay photography videos coming up! So please stay tuned.

Depression Kills Why We Keep it Bottled Up (Rant)

Depression Kills Why We Keep it Bottled Up (Rant). Sorry for the camera shaking near the end. This is not the first time I have talked about mental health issues. However, it has been a while. Recent events in the world both positive and negative have put me in a position that I fell I need to talk about them more. Mostly the Mauro Ranallo documentary (which at this time I still have not seen) and Kate Spade’s passing. Depression kills and just because you have success and comfort does not mean that you can’t have depression, or that its effects can’t get to you. We often keep our depression bottled up. We keep it bottled up because when we do open up. The response we get is often being more attacked than helpful. We often wind up being more frustrated and feeling more alone than before opening up. Too many people assume that having success and comfort means you can’t be depressed. Success and comfort certainly help. However, they do not prevent depression. Depression often goes hand and hand with other mental health issues. There is often a feeling of isolation that comes with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum issues, and other Learning Disabilities. This often leads to depression. The life expectancy of those of us who live with depression and other mental health issues is much shorter than those of you who don’t. I do not want to be a part of that statistic. Mental health is an important and personal issue for me. However, I am also trying to run a YouTube Channel. I would like to do more happy videos like my cosplay photography. I kind of fell guilty about asking but Please Subscribe. Every little bit of support helps. TroyGrudin YouTube I also have a sports channel that I cal Sports Talk With Troy. Sports Talk With Troy YouTube
