M Is For Mental Health Wellness & Growth Introduction Season 1 Episode 0. I fell there is a lot of bad information when it comes to helping those of us who experience what is often referred to as “Invisible Disabilities”. Such as Some of the challenges that are on the Autistic Spectrum, ADHD and some Learning Disabilities. I fell this bad information is very harmful to those of us who live with these challenges. So this is my introduction video for what at least for now I am calling M Is For Mental Health Wellness & Groth. My aim is to put a new video out every Monday hence the M is for part of the title.

Mental Health Is An Important Subject. Autism Awareness Day/Month. It’s hard for me to talk about. I have made videos in the past and plan to do more in the future. Something that I want you to understand. Talking about my experiences is not therapeutic for me. Which was one of the reasons I started talking about my own experiences dealing with my own invisible disabilities. I plan on making more videos even if I might have covered a topic in the past. I think some things are worth repeating. I do have some travel and cosplay photography videos coming up! So please stay tuned.
I am Re-Starting My Old & First YouTube Channel!
I started this YouTube Channel back in 2015. With a review of the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKL8QnXdKkg
My aim was to make this an all-encompassing channel. However, I kept hearing that I need to niche down. Add that to the fact that I just was not satisfied with the way this channel was going. I started two new channels. The first troygrudin (all one word) Which was basically a reboot of this channel. I consider troygrudin to be my main channel. & Sports Talk With Troy. Where I talk about sports. I am going to use this channel to talk about Mental Health/Neurologically Atypical/Learning Disabilities issues. As well as any news or political issues I fell a need to talk about. My channel troygrudin https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8wK4eEZtTRlvr6Bj_37kqw is where I will be posting my photos and vlogs of my travels. Sports Talk With Troy is where I will be talking about sports. Mostly boxing, football & basketball. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1DnNvUpABr-ayiIMvwBJgg
invite you to also check out my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tfgrudin/

I’ve been Slacking Off (Why I Haven’t Been Posting) I set a goal of making a video regarding my mental health/invisible health experience for every Monday. I’ve been slacking off a bit. These videos are not always easy for me to make and, are not always as therapeutic as you might think. #slackingoff I have been posting to my Sports Talk With Troy YouTube Sports Talk With Troy
I am looking forward to Rose City Comic Con Sep 7-9 in Portland Oregon! Photos and vlogs are going to be on this channel! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8wK4eEZtTRlvr6Bj_37kqw
I am trying to get you caught up to what I have been doing on YouTube.
The Myth Of The Self Made Person Is A Lie! My Autistic Spectrum/ADHD/Learning Disabilities Experience Monday Rather you fight an invisible (and/or visible) disability or are neurologically typical. Everyone needs some help reaching our potential. PARENTS I know it is not easy, but sometimes. It means letting go and not letting yourself be consumed by your fears of the worst possible outcome, and just be there when we ask for direct help. When you are overprotective. The only thing you are protecting us from is success, reaching our potential and happiness. There are times when we need more hands-on help. Let us ask, or at least make sure you are not preventing us from doing and growing.
I am still trying to figure out my format for my blog. I just changed the layout.
I am thinking about going back to one video at a time. Please subscribe. TroyGrudin/biG72media YouTube
Taking Our Meds (Autistic Spectrum ADHD. L.D. Experience Monday) Pretty much everyone who faces the challenge of living with an invisible disability dose some kind of meditating. Rather it is prescribed by a doctor or what is often referred to as Self-Medication. Which comes in many forms.
I am trying something different. In the past, I have just reposted my YouTube posts one at a time. I am experimenting with one weekly post. I will be posting videos from both of my channels TroyGrudin MediaArts Which is my Photography & Vlogging Channel and Sports Talk With Troy Which is my Sports Channel. If you don’t want to wait till my videos are posted here. Please click the links and subscribe.
All the videos this week come from Sports Talk With Troy
Depression Kills Why We Keep it Bottled Up (Rant). Sorry for the camera shaking near the end. This is not the first time I have talked about mental health issues. However, it has been a while. Recent events in the world both positive and negative have put me in a position that I fell I need to talk about them more. Mostly the Mauro Ranallo documentary (which at this time I still have not seen) and Kate Spade’s passing. Depression kills and just because you have success and comfort does not mean that you can’t have depression, or that its effects can’t get to you. We often keep our depression bottled up. We keep it bottled up because when we do open up. The response we get is often being more attacked than helpful. We often wind up being more frustrated and feeling more alone than before opening up. Too many people assume that having success and comfort means you can’t be depressed. Success and comfort certainly help. However, they do not prevent depression. Depression often goes hand and hand with other mental health issues. There is often a feeling of isolation that comes with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum issues, and other Learning Disabilities. This often leads to depression. The life expectancy of those of us who live with depression and other mental health issues is much shorter than those of you who don’t. I do not want to be a part of that statistic. Mental health is an important and personal issue for me. However, I am also trying to run a YouTube Channel. I would like to do more happy videos like my cosplay photography. I kind of fell guilty about asking but Please Subscribe. Every little bit of support helps.
